Charmaine Jacquard joined Southwest Employment Service as Project Coordinator with the “Strive For Success” program in July of 2026. Born and raised in Yarmouth Nova Scotia and having left the small community at a young age to pursue education, growth and happiness she ultimately determined that home truly is where the heart is.

Being from a small community and raising a family go hand in hand as the family and community relationships are ultimately what helped to shape her into the person she is today.

Charmaine has a lot of experience in working with people as she spent 14 years working with Web.com in the Workforce Management department handling everything from real time adherence management to scheduling. Charmaine moved on to a path that brought another level of happiness to her life with YACRO. For the past 6 years Charmaine has worked with the local non-profit organization within the group homes as a Residential support worker primarily with children but also adults living with disabilities. Helping people in any capacity is what she always knew was her calling.

Charmaine has joined the Southwest Employment team in pursuit of continuing her journey of helping others to obtain their goals and live meaningful and happy lives.
