Daniel was born and raised in Yarmouth County where his passion for helping neighbors was instilled. Over the course of his academic career Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Rights Studies from St. Thomas University, French Immersion Certificate from Université Sainte-Anne, Graduate Certificate as a Career Development Professional from Conestoga College, and coursework in Heathen Theology.

The first 12 years of Daniel’s career he worked as an Addictions Counsellor in both voluntary and court mandated detox in Edmonton, Alberta, where his skills were honed and tested. Now Daniel is the new Project Coordinator for the Trade Brigade, a program designed to help at risk individuals obtain employment in the trades.
